Special NJT Board meeting

March 30th 2007 09:56 am

The NJ Transit Board of Directors is holding a special meeting on Monday, April 2, at 8:30 a.m. The main agenda item is “Executive director: Appointment and employment agreement”.

So who will the new Executive Director be? Any guesses?

Since Gov. Corzine has been a major bust so far; I think he will be purely political. So, here is some speculation based on pure conjecture:

    1. John Wisniewski. Chairman of the assembly transportation committee, NJT’s Exec. Director pays substantially better.

    2. Jack Lettiere. Jack was the head honcho at DOT and must be going nuts with Kid Kolluri, Esq. Jack could do something of substance as NJT head.

    3. Shirley DeLibero. An employment contract may have her take her motor bike out of mothballs to head north.

    4. Jim McGreevey- he is still job hunting and he knows no shame–neither does our Governor.

    5. Carla Katz–Well, the Governor already bought her a house, why not give her a state-paid job, too?

A good choice would be Florio, but it will probably be Rich Sarles.
