New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg made waves last week when he proposed a separate toll to drive into the most congested parts of his city.

But New Jersey could be close to doing the same thing — charging drivers to enter the Garden State.

Now, if they’d properly channel that revenue, it could be a transit windfall.

    I just heard on the radio that the Port Authority says they are NOT studying two-way tolls. They expect to receive a grant soon, but they do not even intend to study two-way tolls.
