NJ Transit has posted the new Pascack Valley Line schedule here (225 KB PDF). Contrary to Internet rumors, the towns that opposed the passing sidings have not been bypassed by the new service.

Hooray! The substitute busing on the Gladstone Branch has finally ended! Let’s hope we never have to do that for an entire summer again. I wonder what effect that had on the ridership.

NJ Transit announced today that four round-trips to High Bridge will be added to the Raritan Valley Line service starting October 29. The weekday substitute busing on the Gladstone Branch has ended. But the weekend substitute busing will continue until September 29.
Note that a new schedule goes into effect on Friday, August 31. Also, train service will operate on the Gladstone Branch on Labor Day, September 3.
